Wendy M. Morgan is a senior learning and instructional design leader, researcher, and consultant whose work sits at the intersection of developmental science, professional learning, and practice improvement. She holds a PhD in interpersonal/family communication and developmental psychology, with academic and research training focused on parent-child interaction. She is also a registered Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator.
She has worked for over a decade with the Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute to translate complex research into clear, usable learning experiences for practitioners. In addition to her work in learning strategy and design, Dr. Morgan has extensive exposure to co-regulation research and technical assistance practice through applied professional learning initiatives. She is especially interested in exploring the ways that caregiver-child interaction patterns, contingent responding, and relationship-based supports can be understood and used in real-world settings that serve children and families.
